Mid-cycle update for Slavia will bring in quite a few cosmetic tweaks and tech updates.
The popular Skoda Slavia sedan will see a mid-life update around September next year. Skoda’s made-for-India sedan has been on sale since February 2022 and will be around 3.5 years old when it gets the refresh. The Slavia is one of the four India 2.0 products, which also includes its badge engineered twin the Volkswagen Virtus sedan, along with the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun SUVs.
- Slavia facelift to sport changes to bumpers, headlights and front grille
- Expected to get more equipment like an ADAS suite
- No mechanical changes are expected
Skoda Slavia facelift: what all will be new?
The refreshed Slavia will follow the launch of the updated Kushaq. The updated sedan from Skoda will have styling tweaks on the front and rear bumpers. The headlamps will see mild reprofiling, the grille will be a tad wider, and there will be repositioned chrome bits. Additionally, there are also talks of connected headlamps like the ones seen on the Hyundai Verna. At the back, there will be mild changes to the tail-lamps, which will not get a connected element. On the inside, expect minor cosmetic changes and more equipment, depending on variant.
There will be no changes expected on the powertrain side, which means the 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with manual and DSG gearbox options, and the 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with manual and torque convertor automatic options, will soldier on.
The Slavia facelift will be the third new product for Skoda in 2025. The brand will start the new year with global debut of the all-new compact SUV, and then follow it up with the facelifts for the Kushaq and Slavia, respectively.
